One of the interesting projects that the Tourism Council is taking on is moving and restoring this log cabin.  High school classes are doing research on the history of the cabin and will be helping with the move. We hope to have it placed near the Welcome Center as a museum and teaching aid.
 

We will be disassembling it piece by piece to move it.  Each of the boards and logs will be labeled and its position recorded so that we can rebuild the cabin in its new location.
