Innsbruck was the first stop in Austria.
a church along the road as we were coming in to town.

The plaque says that Leopold Mozart and his young (13 years old) son
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart gave a concert here December 14, 1769.

passed.

Over the mountains and into the heart of Vienna
Walking about we found the stables of the Spanish Riding School and a
bar and restaurant where we had lunch.
The evening's entertainment was a concert by a chamber orchestra,
singers and dancers.
We had visited the Schonbrunn Palace many years before but was
even bigger than we remembered.

All roads converge on Saint Stephens making it a good place to
meet up with friends.

breezes that afternoon.
The evening included a fine meal, beverages, music, and dancing as part
of the Spargelzeit Festival.
