We have been nailing joist hangers for the last few days. We had to adjust for the concrete walls being out of square by 1.5 inches at one corner and 2.5 inches at another. We next cut and installed the joists. That was easy, if a little tedious as was nailing all the tension bridging in place. We will soon know if we managed to get things straightened out and square, since the OSB subflooring will be unforgiving of any misalignment. When that is complete we will start the columns that will hold up the front deck and and get it built. That will give us a work area that should help when we build the walls for the main floor.
