We have completed the subfloor for the main level, built the front deck and sheathed the basement front wall.  The beam at the front of the deck weighs more than half a ton.  Brett helped us to get started on that job during his visit.  Fortunately we were able to put it up in sections so each lift was manageable. The temporary bracing on the columns will be removed  next.   We have been using the power nailer extensively.  We worked it so hard that one of the internal seals failed and we had to rent a replacement while we tried to get it repaired and finally returned it and bought a replacement.  Several days of rain kept us from working (we enjoyed the break).
