We visited this temple at night.
It is a double temple with parts dedicated to two sets of gods.
Part is a temple to Horus the falcon headed god and the other part is for Sobek represented with the head of a crocodile.

Here both are represented on one panel.

Views of the temples.

Panels on the columns, walls, and ceilings

A wood dovetail a little more than a foot long was used to join stone blocks together.
The technique was apparently common but little of the wood has survived to modern times.

Two mummified crocodiles on display.

Our guide said Egyptologists have several  theories as to the intended function of this stone lined well.
It could have been used to monitor the height of the Nile, to provide pure water for ceremonies, or as a crocodile pen.
